Prathikshanam is a story of a love couple with thrilling twists. Sathya himself is an ad- film maker in the movie. Nithya is a researcher in biology and she experiences the the auditory hallucinations and paranoid or visual delusions. There is no chance that Nithya herself identify the problem as she forgets all the things happened to her after sometime passed and even she keep on to perceive the another and enter into the supernatural world. Sathya has to trace out the problem that suffers Nithya. With his close friends involvement Sathya meets DR. Devaraj, and they together solves the problem.
