We all know that Nag Ashwin is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Mahanati, which is a biopic of late legendary actress Savitri. The director took enough time to prepare the script and shot it for a year.
Designer Gaurang Shah is making his debut as a costume designer with this film, shared that more than 100 artisans took a year to design the complete wardrobe of Mahanati and they did a lot of research. They purchased fabrics from Kanchipuram and Benares were imported informed the ace designer. They have researched a lot and took special care to know each and every detail of the design, textile, and texture.
The film features Keerthy Suresh as Savitri and actors like Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Dulquer Salman, Samantha and Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing important roles in it. The movie is all set to hit the screens on May 9 and will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages.
