Young hero Karthi who is popular in both Telugu and Tamil languages is gearing up for a grand release of his new movie titled as DEV. The film is directed by Rajath Ravishankar. The film's pre-release event was held yesterday in Hyderabad and the makers were happy to be interacting with the people of the Telugu states. The film unit is happy and confident about the success of the film.
Karthik is very excited at the event. He said that there will be a change in generation every five years. The actor gave an example of what his film is going to be for the audiences. The actor spoke about how the film is going to reflect the relationships of the current times. The film is said to be doing the talking of single parenting, broken marriages and break-ups.
The actress reunited with Rakul Preet after Khakee. He said that he recommended her for the film as a heroine as he felt that she would be perfect for the role. Rakul too acknowledged the same and thanked Karthi for the same.
Rakul will be seen as a feminist, strong and independent woman in the film and her character name is Meghana.
The film ‘DEV’ is releasing on February 14th.
